My Background and Approach​​

I’ve built more than one business from scratch, sometimes with cofounders and sometimes leading alone. My first grew successfully, my second showed real promise before being derailed by a trusted business partner whose actions ultimately destroyed it.
I learned the hard way what it means to rebuild after betrayal, financial loss and disappointment, and what it takes to keep going when the easy answers disappear.

Even when it would have been easier not to, I’ve held fast to integrity, honesty and transparency, because they are what keep people aligned when everything else is shifting.

Originally from New Zealand, I moved to the other side of the world to expand a business I had built, taking it global and establishing new branches overseas. I’ve since steered companies through high stakes transitions and worked directly with leadership and teams that others had written off as beyond repair.

I combine experienced commercial judgement with a deep understanding of how people think, decide and behave under pressure. Not as theory, but as something that shows up in decisions, conversations and execution.
